In the Fall of 2005, I stepped into the Sanctuary of Immanuel for the first time. God met me in a real and life changing way. He totally reordered my life, my desires and my priorities. My wife, Janet, and I moved here from Mississippi, became active members of the church and were accepted into this family we call Immanuel. In April, 2007, the church called me to pastor our Southgate congregation, New Hope. Then, in March of 2010, the church expanded my role to include our Grace Ministry Center in Covington.
Pastoring the two off site locations of Immanuel is both meaningful and challenging. In addition to these ministries, Missions and Evangelism for all Immanuel locations demands my attention. But, after being out of the ministry for twenty five years, it is truly a joy and blessing to work with God's people doing His work in this place.
Janet and I have four grown children living in Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. We love sitting on the deck of our home in Bracken County overlooking the Ohio River watching the deer, turkey and all the other wild critters.
I love college football, especially SEC football, all things Southern including NASCAR, anything FRIED and deer hunting.
