Dr. Maciej Latawiec
Maciej Latawiec received their doctoral degree in Violin Performance at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati in 2023. They received their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Throughout their university education Maciej has studied violin with Professor Piotr Milewski, Professor Kurt Sassmanshaus, Professor Stefan Milenkovich, and Professor Giora Schmidt. Maciej actively performs in orchestras in the region, including as a second violin principal at the Lima Symphony Orchestra. They performed in the U.S., as well as internationally in Poland (St. John’s Archcathedral in Warsaw, Łańcut International Summer Festival), South Korea, and the Vatican City.
