Jessica Vanover, soprano, recently moved to Northern Kentucky and is proud to build a private voice and piano studio through the acclaimed Northern Kentucky School of Music of Immanuel UMC. Jessica has taught and lead a growing private studio since 2004. From 2009 to 2016, Jessica served as Youth Director and an integral part of the music ministry at First United Methodist Church in Henderson, KY. While in Henderson, Jessica was in demand as a regional soloist; notably singing Soprano and Alto solos for Handel’s Messiah and Haydn’s The Creation. Jessica is a graduate of the University of Evansville as a Vocal Music Education major with a minor in Spanish. While a student at UE, Jessica directed several active children’s and youth choirs at Methodist Temple United Methodist Church in Evansville, IN; and served as Youth Director at St. John’s UCC in Boonville, IN. Jessica lives in Florence with her husband Matthew, who serves as Minister of Music at Immanuel UMC. They have one two-year old son, Charles.
