Guitar Classes
Jimmy Rinehart, instructor

Guitar Classes meet weekly for 2 semesters: Jan-Apr. and Sept.-Dec. Classes are taught on-site at Immanuel School of Music and local schools. Each weekly class is one (1) hour in length.

Minimum Class Size: Three (3) students

Fall: September 5 - December 9, 2023

Spring: January 8 - April 29, 2024

Tuition: $175 per semester/student (does not include instrument)

No refunds after the first two (2) weeks of class.

Tuition Includes: (per semester)

  • 13 weekly 60-minute classes per semester

  • 1-2 concert opportunities

  • Special Saturday Workshops

  • ISM t-shirt

Option 1 - ISM Group Guitar at ISM Lakeside locations (evening time) 

ISM Lakeside Campus: 

Tuesdays (6-7 pm) – Beginner to Intermediate (geared towards Adults) + Learn Guitar Practical Theory & Chord Structure  

Option 2 - Level 1 - Beginning Guitar Class - offered on-site at Local Schools:

Blessed Sacrament – Tuesday 2:30-3:30 pm
**These classes designed for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students with no previous experience.

Jimmy Rinehart, Class Instructor

Jimmy Rinehart is a guitarist, music instructor, singer-songwriter and arranger. He has a degree in guitar performance from Indiana State University with an emphasis on guitar pedagogy. He has decades of music instruction and live performance experience. In addition to instructing students of all ages, Jimmy performs as a solo artist, in a duo with his wife, and as a member of the Nashville-based folk-country band The Highland Reunion. He has spent time living, teaching, and playing music in Indiana, Washington, D.C., and Nashville. Jimmy now lives in northern Kentucky with his wife Christina and daughter Dottie.
